Back when I used to participate in that community, I would get so frustrated by the heavy-handed moderation and eventually just stopped coming around all together. NOW, years later, I regret that, because I can see how it was all for the greater good of fashion.

The geniuses behind TFS have created one of the coolest, most extensive fashion & photography archives on the web. If it weren't for it's relentless Time Suckage Factor, I'd visit every day, and these scans from the July 1972 issue of Jasmin (Germany) make an excellent case in point as to why...

Sonia Rykiel's aesthetic is so right on. I dig that late 70s - early 80s glam thing she does so well and am ready to move right in to one of her moody, color-saturated ads.

This first set is for Spring 2010 and reminds me of the Robert Palmer Simply Irresistible days...

1. Know Yourself

It's the weekend, finally, and, as I sit here impatiently waiting for noon to roll around so that I can be one of the lucky few to nab tix for The Dead Weather's show at The Roxy next week (wish me luck!), I thought I'd pass the time with a little Wary Meyers. I've been obsessing on their stuff for a couple of years now & don't know why I haven't blogged about it before. It's so damn dreamy!
