The girl-on-the-street vibe that I was
bitching about earlier, is still going strong on the runway, but I'm kinda sorta getting used to it & there have been a few snazzy exceptions. Guess I'll just have to wait for Paris & Milan (London, hopefully too... PLEEEEASE, London) for some oomph. Here's the best of what
Style.com has on display from the last few days of the Spring 2010 collections...

Preen by Justin Thornton & Thea Bregazzi is far & away the best of what's been offered so far. The palette is so right on for the times, fresh & clean with little shocks of color here & there, and I adore the intricate strap detailing, the metallic leathers, all the sculptural details, and their restrained but generous use of lace & draping.

And, in yet another lesson reminding us to Never Judge A Book By It's Cover...

Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra, the burly lumberjackish partners behind
Costello Tagliapietra, dazzle with sophisticated elegance...
