Alexander McQueen is a true genius. He's not looking around at other designers or taking the temperature of upcoming trends to best figure out what he should put down the runway. He finds his inspiration where great artists have always found it, in life, nature, and his own imagination. He also manages to make thrilling, conceptual ideas wearable, and that, unfortunately, is a rare combination of talents these days. So, who do you think did it better, McQueen or Mother Nature?
