A Good Mind Trip

Hint magazine's interactive digital editorial, "MiND TRiP", is groovy and strangely relaxing. Plus you can further enhance your experience by choosing your own soundtrack from one of two hippie trippy songs (Hot Like Fire by The XX or Still by Vitalie). ENJOY!

But Who Will Bell The Cats

I'm a writer and an illustrator and a performer. This blog is a mess. I mean, seriously, it's all over the place, a hodge podge of random likes and dislikes. How else do you explain entries on the paranormal sitting next to posts about food and Etsy and poetry and fashion and rock and roll and so and so's birthday and- oh yeah, this children's book I just stumbled upon? It's cute, right? And wait'll you see the promotional website... But Who Will Bell The Cats? So random. So good. So KOSHi. -xo

KOSHi Luvs... Caitlin Shearer

I probably shouldn't spend so much time blogging about what is technically my competition, but- you know what? Fuck it! I like what I like & I like to share. Besides, I don't think admiring & pointing out other artist's work could ever be a bad thing. It's natural, inspiring, and urges me on to do more. Caitlin Shearer (at only 19 years old!) is one such artist. In fact, her work is so good, I had a really hard time narrowing down a few choices to post. If you want to see more, visit her etsy shop, Pepperminte, and, if you like what you see, buy something for gawd's sake! Artist's gotta eat too...

Anne Cresci w/subtitles

All that purple! Could Anne Cresci be any cuter? I think maybe the French is helping that cause- so charming. Love watching her illustration process & hearing that self-depreciating giggle...

Now, I feel all kinds of inspired & hopeful for my lil KOSHi SHOP!

But, really, this post isn't about me. It's about Anne Cresci and her darling Matilou on etsy. Go there now!

Molly Crabapple

Obviously I'm crazy late to the Molly Crabapple game, but better late than never, as the infamous "they" say. Plus, I'm making up for lost time tonight. If you care to join me on this lil adventure, I say we start with this multi-faceted feature on this multi-faceted woman...

(And if you're only seeing the left side of this video, SHiT FUCK PiSS and i'M SORRY! Click HERE to watch it as God intended.)

Pre-Order Molly's upcoming comic, "Scarlett Takes Manhattan", at Amazon.com...

This is one seriously enterprising, badass lady. Check out the off the wall art class she started... Dr. Sketchy's! And then read all about it in the UK's The List.

Plinio Pinto Illustration

My Lawd, this guy, Plinio Pinto, is an awesome illustrator. I randomly stumbled upon his work today while checking out Spray Graphic, this online artists community. Spray Graphic looks like a pretty cool place to hang, but I am already overextended on pretty cool places to hang, so I'll just pop in from time to time.
