NEW TO ME: Tom Hardy. Wow. Love This Guy. He Really Perked Up The All Star Cast Of "Inception", Which Was Amazing, BTW (Marion Cotillard Is So Divine)

"You don't step on stage to eat, you go there to be eaten." -Tom Hardy

COMiNG UP:

"Warrior" (2010)
Written & Directed by: Gavin O'Connor

The youngest son (Tom Hardy) of an alcoholic former boxer (Nick Nolte) returns home, where he's trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament -- a path that puts the fighter on a collision corner with his older brother.

"Mad Max : Fury Road" (2012)
Director : George Miller
CoStarring : Charlize Theron

"Whatever character you play, remember they are always doing something. They are not just talking. They are alive; going through a drama in which they will go through some sort of dramatic human experience. Keywords: Alive and Experience. It is your job to make them become so. Anthing you do on stage or film has a direct relation to something you have experienced in one form or another in real life. Use your imagination to exaggerate or lessen that sensation. Then, disguise it in characterization and don't forget to make lots and lots of mistakes, and look like a complete asshole. You'll do fine." -Tom Hardy

Yeah I discovered him about a year ago. Incredible actor. You should take a look at this British Miniseries he did called The Take, I think its his most intense work so far.

When watching him in Inception I couldnt help but compare him to Heath Ledger. The way he uses his body, down to the smallest nuance and physical idiosyncracies just to bring the performance to life. He definitely stole a lot of scenes from JGL.

I hope Nolan is eyeing him for a villain in B3.

Yeah! Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I love people that can appreciate real actors. Acting is a skill that many folks have no respect for. I live in L.A., so I've had my fill of people thinking that just any good looking somebody can do it. I'll definitely be checking out more of his work- thanks for the tip.
