There's THiS STORY zipping around the web about this indie band, Georgia Wonder, that convinced the owners of Nevada Music, a Guitar Center-ish shop in the UK, to allow them to record their next album after hours with an all access pass to the stores massive plethora of equipment. Looks like a gear-junkie's idea of eternal bliss (Billy, are you reading this?). It also looks like an excellent branding technique, as now both the band & the shop are getting a nice little buzz in the press. Well played! I love a good marketing scheme.
