Obama Myspace Fiasco
This is not a very political blog, but I have my moments & thought this was interesting... A guy named Joe Anthony has, for the past two and a half years, run a Myspace page devoted to campaigning for Barack Obama for president. Obama's people knew about & condoned the campaign until it amassed 160,000 "friends". At that point, they demanded that he hand it over. He said he would for $39,000 plus $10,000 in additional fees for all the work & time he'd put in. However, they did not accept his offer & Myspace was left to settle the riff, which they resolved by turning the page over to Obama & letting Anthony keep his 160,000 friends. Also, Anthony's allowed to say whatever he wants to the press & his Myspace peeps. His blog now reads that he is heartbroken that the Obama campaign was bullying him out of the page he built & that the candidate has lost his vote. I don't blame him. Two and a half years of devotion for no love returned is a mighty long time.
