Jesus & Mary Chain ReGroup

Jesus and Mary Chain brothers, Jim & William Reid, along with their sister, Linda, have reformed as "Vanilla Sister" to record a new record, "Little Pop Rock", which comes out this week. CLiCK HERE to watch the new band's first video. It's strangely moving & bittersweet as it focuses on one character's hands throughout his life, as seen from only his point of view. The hands move from tiny chubby baby fists gripping their toys to a child's working some crayons, then teenage hands going through beers and rolling a joint to adult hands thumbing a cup of coffee, writing a letter, sifting through old photos and finally growing withered with age, dunking a tea bag before ending folded in repose. It's a complete life and one gentle, easy song.
