Apparently, Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai, the ladies behind the super hip fashion label, Vena Cava, described their current collection as a reflection of "gonzo bohemian excess and the hard-living adventurers Hunter S. Thompson and Ernest Hemingway, men whose lifestyles embraced humor, liquor, depression, peyote and red wine, Paris and Big Sur.”, which sounds groovy to me. Any mention of Big Sur will blind me to less than substantial substance. So, it is in the name of said blinding that I present to you Vena Cava's latest, which doesn't quite live up to their statement.
