Way back I reported on Scarlett Johansson embarking on a musical career, beginning with a tribute album called "Scarlett Sings Tom Waits". And I really don't know how receptive I am to that idea, especially when I see her closing The Grammys before she's qualified. Pretty? Yes. Grammy worthy? No. Not yet. So, I have to say that news of yet another actress, Jena Malone, releasing an album kinda made me cringe. However, I was wrong! Shame on me for my preconceived notions. Malone's songs are unique & fresh. Maybe music is her calling? She's definitely willing to go out on a limb for her ideas. Click here to give her a listen & decide for yourself.
